Spelt & Seed

Spelt is a fantastic alternative to wheat and much easier to digest.  Packed with crunchy linseeds and pumpkin seed this bread is a revolution in bread making.  It tastes great and works in harmony with your body, being high in fibre, low in saturated fats and low in sugar.

Homemade Burger on toasted bread
For a different slant on the usual burger!

Ingredients - Serves 4

8 slices of LifeFibre Co. Spelt & Seed Bread
500g minced beef
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 small onion
1 garlic clove, crushed

Method: Combine beef, garlic, onion and egg in a bowl, shape into 4 patties. Cook on BBQ or under grill until browned on both sides and cooked through. Toast the LifeFibre Co. Spelt & Seed bread lightly and fill with your own favourite fillings such as lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, mayo or salsa!
