Linseed & Oatbran

The ingredients in this bread were chosen because they are a smart addition to a balanced and healthy lifestyle – and they taste great together!  Linseed and oatbran are both renowned for the positive contribution they can make to our overall health and wellbeing. Each serving contains an impressive 23% of your fibre requirements and this bread is also low in saturated fat, low in sugar and contains 16% linseed which contains cereal Omega 3.

Chicken and Guacamole
A delicious, nutritious feast, that will have you coming back for more!

Ingredients - Serves 2

4 slices of LifeFibre Co. Linseed & Oatbran Bread
2 skinless chicken breasts, grilled and cooled.
Guacamole, make your own using our simple recipe or alternatively you can buy ready-made guacamole at your local supermarket.

Guacamole ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
3 spring onions chopped
Juice of 1 lime
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 medium tomato, skinned, deseeded and chopped finely
1 dessert spoon of finely chopped coriander leaves
Salt and pepper, to season

Method: To make guacamole, use a fork to mash the avocado and juice of the lime together, stir in the garlic, chopped tomato, coriander and spring onion. Spread the guacamole onto the LifeFibre Co. Linseed and Oatbran slices and top with slices of grilled chicken breast. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and a sprig of coriander

Chicken and Grapes
A healthy, tasty sandwich with a twist!

Ingredients - Serves 1

2 slices of LifeFibre Co. Linseed & Oatbran Bread
1 skinless cooked chicken breast
A few grapes (or any fruit of your choice)
Low fat spread

Method: Spread two slices of LifeFibre Co. Linseed and Oatbran bread with a light coating of low fat spread. Chop up a skinless chicken breast. Wash and cut a few grapes (and any other fruit of your choice). Then simply sandwich both the chicken and the fruit between the two slices of bread.
